      This Indenture made the Fourteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty four, Between Thomas Machon, Widower of Murray Harbour in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, farmer of the one part, and Elizabeth Reid of Murray Harbour in Kings County in the said Island of the other part, Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Two pounds ten shillings of lawful money of Prince Edward Island to the said Thomas Machon in hand well and truly paid by the said Elizabeth Reid at or immediately before the sealing and delivery of these presents (the receipt whereof he the said Thomas Machon doth hereby acknowledge) and of and from the same and every part thereof doth acquit, release and discharge the said Elizabeth Reid, her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever by these presents he the said Thomas Machon hath granted, bargained, sold, limited, appointed, aliened, released and confirmed by these presents (being a Deed of Release made in pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of the said Island made and passed in the Twelfth year of the Reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria intituled (§) "An Act for rendering a Release as effectual for the conveyance of freehold Estates as a Lease and Release by the same parties") Doth grant, bargain, sell, limit and appoint, alien, release and confirm unto the said Elizabeth Reid, her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns All that piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being within Murray Harbour aforesaid in Kings County and in Prince Edward Island aforesaid bounded as follows, that is to say, commencing at a stake fixed at the West angle of a piece of land in the possession of Samuel Prowse and running from thence Twenty seven and one third yards West along the Murray Harbour Road from thence Sixty four yards in a Southwardly direction in a line parallel with the West line of a piece of land in the possession of Samuel Prowse aforesaid thence eastwardly Twenty three and one half yards or until it strikes Samuel Prowse's West line thence along the said line Northwardly Fifty two yards to the stake of place of commencement containing by estimation one fourth part of an Acre of land be the same a little more or less being parcel of Lot Number Sixty four, Together with all and every the rights, privileges, easements, advantages and appurtenances whatsoever to the said hereditaments belonging or in anywise appertaining or thereunto now or heretofore holden, used, occupied or enjoyed, To have and to hold the said messuages (§§) or tenements, land or hereditaments and all and singular other the premises hereinbefore granted, appointed and released or expressed and intended so to be with their appurtenances unto and to the use of the said Elizabeth Reid, her heirs and assigns forever, Subject Nevertheless to the Quit Rents to become due, exceptions, reservations, covenants and conditions in the original Grant of Letters Patent of the said premises reserved and contained. And the same Thomas Machon doth hereby for his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns covenant, promise and agree with and to the said Elizabeth Reid, her heirs and assigns in manner and form following that is to say, That it shall and may be lawful to and for the said Elizabeth Reid, her heirs and assigns from time to time and at all times hereafter peaceably and quietly to enter into and upon and to have, hold, occupy, possess and enjoy the said messuages, lands and other hereditaments hereinbefore granted and released or expressed and intended so to be with their appurtenances and to receive and take the Rents, Issues and profits thereof and of every part thereof to and for her and their proper use and benefit without the lawful let, suit, trouble, denial, eviction, interruption, claim or dues and whatsoever of or by he the said Thomas Machon or his heirs or assigns or of or by any other person lawfully or equitably claiming or to claim by, from or under or in trust for him, them or any of them. In Witness whereof the said Thomas Machon hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written at Murray Harbour in Kings County aforesaid, signed, sealed and delivered in presence of Samuel Prowse, John Howe.

      This Indenture made the fourth day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eighty–three, Between Elizabeth Reid of East Boston in the United States of America and formerly of Murray Harbour, Kings County of Prince Edward Island of the one part and Francis C. Baker of Murray Harbour in P. E. Island of the other part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars of lawful money of Canada to the said Elizabeth Reid in hand well and truly paid by the said Francis C. Baker at or immediately before the sealing and delivery of these presents (the receipt whereof she the said Elizabeth Reid doth hereby acknowledge and of and from the same and every part thereof doth acquit, release and discharge the said Francis C. Baker, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever by these presents). she the said Elizabeth Reid hath granted, released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, release and confirm unto the said Francis C. Baker, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns All that piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being on Lot or Township Number Sixty–four in Kings County, Prince Edward Island, and bounded and described as follows: that is to say commencing at a stake fixed at the west angle of a piece of land in possession of Samuel Prowse and running thence along the Murray Harbour Road west for the distance of eighty two (82) feet thence southwardly in a line parallel with the west boundary line of the aforesaid piece of land in possession of the said Samuel Prowse for the distance of one hundred and ninety–two (192) feet thence eastwardly for the distance of seventy and one–half (70 1/2) feet or until it strikes the west boundary line of the aforesaid piece of land in possession of Samuel Prowse thence northwardly along the said boundary line for the distance of one hundred and fifty–six (156) feet to the stake or place of commencement containing by estimation one quarter of an acre of land be the same a little more or less. Together with all and every the rights, privileges, easements, advantages and appurtenances whatsoever to the said hereditaments belonging or in anywise appertaining or thereunto now or herein before holden, used, occupied or enjoyed, To Have and To Hold the said messuages and tenements, land and hereditaments and all and singular or other the premises herein before granted, appointed and released or expressed and intended so to be with their appurtenances unto and to the use of the said Francis C. Baker, his heirs and assigns forever. Subject nevertheless to the Quit Rents to become due, exceptions, reservations, covenants and conditions in the Original Grants or Letters Patent of the said premises reserved and contained. And the said Elizabeth Reid doth hereby for her heirs, executors and administrators covenant, promise and agree with and to the said Francis C. Baker, his heirs and assigns in manner and form following, that is to say that it shall and may be lawful to and for the said Francis C. Baker, his heirs and assigns from time to time and at all times hereafter peaceably and quietly to enter into and upon and to have, hold, occupy, possess and enjoy the said messuages, lands and other hereditaments herein before granted and released or expressed and intended so to be with their appurtenances and to receive and take the rents, issues and profits thereof and of every part thereof to and for his and their proper use and benefit without the lawful let, suit, trouble, denial, eviction, interruption, claim or demand whatsoever of or by her the said Elizabeth Reid her heirs or assigns or of or by any other person lawfully or equitably claiming or to claim by, from or under or in trust for him, them or any of them.

Martin by him subscribed thereto is of the proper handwriting of him the said Thomas M. Martin.
