    History Heinrich came to America with his brothers Peter and Jacob. In 1911 he went to Schoenhorst to visit his mother. His mother died while Heinrich was in Germany travelling back to America, so he was able to attend the funeral. In 1918 the family moved to B.C. and then later to Oregon (Isaak Bergen, The Salomon Bergen Family, p. 17). According to Carmen Hope Esau Johnson, Heinrich left Russia on 17 May 1891 and arrived in Dallas, Oregon on 26 June 1891.
