History Although Chortitza Vitals shows a daughter Aganetha born to Cornelius in Aug 1801, he has no daughter by that name in Sep 1801 list or in the 1802 list. However, Heinrich Rempel has a daughter Aganetha age 2 weeks in Sep 1801, so this may be that person. She may be confused with #175849, and she may never have married Abram Reimer - see notes on #175849 and on #189071.

    • Heinrich and Helena's marriage date is almost certainly too early. Heinrich would only have been about sixteen years old in 1782, and no Mennonites had yet migrated to Chortitza by that year.
