Information was prepared by Ken Tiahrt (and Adalbert Goertz) with the generous assistance of the cemetery sexton. The Bethesda Mennonite Church / Tieszen Cemetery was first utilized in 1885 and was created on a church member's farm land. It has since been officially included as part of the Bethesda Church property and operations. It is on the western side of section 3 and about 1/4 mile west and 1/2 mile south of the church. Tieszen Cemetery presently contains about 360 graves (Section 3 – Rosefield Township – Turner County). The Tiahrts were originally from Trzpiola, near Wola Wodzynska, Poland (formerly Prussia).
