He resided in Grossweide, Prussia at the time of his baptism. The 1835 Molotschna Census lists him at Elizabethal #1, and says he came to Russia in 1822. He was from Kramershof, Prussia at the time of his 1821 marriage. The passport record says he came from Kramershoff. According to information obtained from Menno Prieb and taken from Lebenegister - 1908, a son, Johann Siebert (# 26575), writes that his father died on Jan 19, 1875 and he lived 72 years, 5 months and 19 days. His birth date can be calulated as 31 Jul 1802. |
