    Gender Male
History He moved from Muntau, Molotschna Colony, South Russia to the Chortitza Colony at the time of his marriage in 1813. In the 1814 Chortitza Colony Landowners List he is listed at Burwalde #27. In the Oct 1816 Chortitza Colony Census he listed in Burwalde. His age is given as 18 in the 1803 immigration list, which is apparently incorrect (P. Rempel, p. 63). B.H. Unruh in his book Die Niederlandisch-Niederdeutschen Hintergrunde .... on p. 332 gives his marriage date to Maria as 5 Jul 1813, which appears to be incorrect.

    • According to the Heubuden records Michael Teichroeb's 3rd marriage took place between Nov 1779 and Nov 1780. The exact date is not given nor is his wife's name. Her name is added in a handwriting typical of early 20th century Prussia as Anna Dyck. I think that whoever added the name was probably wrong. Both B. H. Unruh and Peter Rempel give her name as Anganetha.
