    • Submitter’s notes: The following is the text of William Sencabaugh's will, dated 1 September 1815. The will was registered on 26 September 1815. This will was found filed with Registry Office Conveyances 1769-1872, Volume 24, Folio 52-54.
The young man referred to as "my lame son Thomas" , to whom William Sencabaugh left half of his farm, apparently died sometime around 1830, as, on March 1, 1830, James Sencabaugh purchased the interest of his eight remaining siblings. This conveyance was signed by all of the surviving siblings and their spouses. Mary Ann Sencabaugh, William’s youngest child, as yet unmarried, made her mark, as did Mary Graham Sencabaugh, wife of John Sencabaugh, and Jane Clow Sencabaugh, wife of David Sencabaugh.
