Obituary - Mrs. Margaretha Friesen, resident of Dallas for the past 30 years, died at a Dallas hospital Saturday following a short illness. She was born January 10, 1870 in Russia. She was married August 28, 1890, at Jansen, Nebraska to Gerhard Friesen, who died in Dallas in September, 1942. Mrs. Friesen was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church here. Survivors include sons, Henry of Salem and Ben of Dallas; daughters, Mrs. Margaret Loewen of Steinbach, Manitoba, Canada, and Mrs. Goldie Wienz, Mrs. Marie Warkentin, Mrs. John Friesen and Mrs. Elma Hiebert, all of Dallas, 28 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and four sisters. Services will be held Thursday, June 12, at 2 p.m. at the EMB Church with interment at Dallas Cemetery. Bollman Funeral Home of Dallas will be in charge.
