Beloved husband of Janet (nee Taylor). Dear father of Linda (Clare) Campbell, Poplar Point; Beverly (Mike) Lemieux, Beach Point; Blair (Doreen) Acorn, Bridgetown; Wade (Debbie) Acorn, Union Road; and Darin Acorn, Oakville, Ontario. Grandfather of 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Dear brother of Bertha (Truelove) Taylor and Marion Cantelo. Predeceased by his brothers Nathan, Chester, Stillman and John and by his sisters Laura, Margaret Wood and Annie Hume. Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Old Dundas Acorn Cemetery. Visitation: Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Family flowers only. If so desired, memorials to the Alzheimers Society of PEI or to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated. The Royal Canadian Legion Montague Branch #8 will hold a service of remembrance at the Funeral Home Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. All veterans are invited to attend.
