Headstones |
 | Dalke, James Jake-1909 & Mary Elsie-1910 (HS) This headstone was designed by Mary Elsie Loewen and her daughter Myrna when Jake Dalke died. On the left you have wheat sheaves (in recognition of their Saskatchewan farm up bringing) and a steel guitar (Jake played gospel music and recorded some in the 1980’s). On the right is a lily of the valley. The music in the middle is from the song “What a day that will be when I see my Savior’s face” with the bible underneath. The words “When He calls we will answer” were what Jake had put on his parents grave stone and were important to him.
