The Hebron Church Records in Buhler, Kansas say that he married Maria Epp on 25 May 1882. Bethel Inman I p. 50 says he was married in 1877 but doesn't say to whom. In the 1900 U.S. Census he is listed in Garden Twp., Harvey Co., Kansas. In the 1930 U.S. Census he is listed in Little River Twp., Reno Co., Kansas. The 1930 Census says that he was married when he was 24 years of age, suggesting that he never married anyone in 1877. |
